About me
I was born and raised in Lucerne, where I attended school and later worked as an accounting clerk.
For two years, I lived in Vancouver, British Columbia, where I worked in the mortgage department of a bank. During this time, I gained valuable international experience and further developed my English language skills.
After returning to Switzerland, I got married. My husband and I have a son and a daughter, and today we are the proud grandparents of two granddaughters and two grandsons.
Once our children had completed primary school, I trained as a tour guide. Since 1991, I have had the pleasure of introducing visitors from around the world to the beauty of Lucerne and its magnificent surroundings. As a freelance tour guide and city guide, I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and sharing my enthusiasm for this remarkable city. My tours go beyond historical facts and dates; I also offer insights into everyday life, traditions, and culture in Switzerland.
Hobbies and Interests
Until the age of 40, I was a passionate field hockey player. As a member of the Lucerne Sports Club, I won several Swiss championship titles and travelled throughout Europe with the Swiss national team to participate in international competitions.
Travelling has always been one of my greatest passions. Together with my family, and later with my husband, I have explored every continent except South America. These journeys have enriched my understanding of different cultures and strengthened my appreciation for meeting people from all walks of life.
