Private Guided Excursion to Mt. Stanserhorn

From Lucerne, you take the train to Stans in just 15 minutes.

 

After a short walk, the real adventure begins: The nostalgic funicular railway glides gently through green meadows and shady forests up to the middle station. There, a true highlight awaits: the world's only CabriO cable car. You can sit protected below or enjoy the open-air deck – fresh mountain air, unobstructed views, and a feeling of freedom as the landscape glides by below. Once you reach the summit (1898 m or 6227 ft), a breathtaking panorama unfolds, overlooking Lake Lucerne and countless Alpine peaks.

 

The return journey is a comfortable ride back to Lucerne along the same route – filled with memories of a relaxing yet impressive day trip.

 

As an option, you could combine the Stanserhorn tour with a guided tour of Lucerne's Old Town, before or after the excursion.
