Golden Round Trip to Mount Pilatus with a private guide
(Summer only)
The Golden Round Trip to Mount Pilatus is an unforgettable day trip full of variety and spectacular views. Five different modes of transport make this journey a truly special experience. From Lucerne, you'll first travel in comfort by boat across Lake Lucerne to Alpnachstad. There, you'll board the steepest cogwheel railway in the world, which will take you spectacularly up to Pilatus Kulm (2,132 m or 6995 ft).
Once you arrive at the top, a breathtaking panorama of the Alps and the lake awaits you – a moment to pause and marvel.
Afterwards, you'll glide down to Kriens on the "Dragon Ride" cable car and then in panoramic gondolas. A short bus ride will then take you back to your starting point in Lucerne.
As an option, you could combine the Mount Pilatus round trip with a guided tour of Lucerne's Old Town, before or after the excursion.
